Posting
How do I post?
Tap the quill at the top right of the feed, write what made your day, then tap Post. A post can be 3 to 2,000 characters.
Why can I only post once a day?
That's the idea of Made My Day: one good moment a day, counted by the calendar in your own time zone. If you try to post twice, the app will ask you to come back tomorrow.
How do I delete one of my posts?
Open the post and tap the trash button at the bottom, then confirm. You can find everything you've posted under My MMDs in the menu. If you delete today's post, you can post again today.
Why wasn't my post published?
Every post is checked against the Community Guidelines before anyone can see it. If the check flags it, the app asks you to change the post and try again.
Do I need an account to read posts?
No. On the sign-in screen, tap no thanks, I just want to browse to read Latest and Popular. You need an account to post, upvote and keep favourites.

I forgot my password
On the sign-in screen, tap I forgot my password and enter your email address. We'll email you instructions to reset it. If you signed up with Apple, you don't have a Made My Day password: just sign in with Apple again.
How do I change my profile photo?
Open the menu, go to My Profile, and choose Change Photo or Remove Photo. Location and camera details are removed before upload, and the photo is checked before it appears.
Can I change my username?
Your username comes from your Apple name or the start of your email address when you sign up, and it can't be changed in the app. Email us with the name you'd like and we'll change it for you.
How do I turn off vibrations or pop-up messages?
Open the menu and go to Settings. Switch off Enable Haptic Feedback for vibrations, or Show Toasts for the short messages that confirm things like votes.
How do I delete my account?
Go to My Profile and tap Delete Account, then confirm with your password or with Apple. This permanently deletes your account, your MMDs, your votes and your favourites, and it can't be undone.
Safety
How do I report a post or a profile photo?
Press and hold the post in the feed, or open the post and use its More menu, then choose Report Post or Report Profile Photo. Reports are private: the person won't know who reported them, and we review every report.
How do I block someone?
Use the same menu and choose Block. You won't see their posts or photo anymore, and they won't be told.
How do I unblock someone?
Open the menu, go to Settings, and find them under Blocked People.
